Information about applications for Zimbabwean birth certificates for children born in South Africa to Zimbabwean parents. This service is essential for establishing Zimbabwean citizenship and is required for passport applications. Important: Applicants are responsible for submitting their birth certificate applications at the Civil Registry Office in Zimbabwe and paying the required processing fees directly.

  • South African birth certificate (unabridged)
  • Child's health card or clinic card
  • Both parents' Zimbabwean IDs or passports
  • Parents' marriage certificate (if applicable)
  • Divorce decree (if applicable)
  • Death certificate (if one parent is deceased)
